Eco Building Products, Inc., (PINK: ECOB) announced today that more than 250 architects from 40 different states have successfully completed the Company's program "Protecting Wood Frame Structures & Topical Lumber Coatings (A Non-Pressure Treating Process)." Developed in collaboration with Ron Blank Associates, the program is designed to educate the specifying community on the risks associated with: 1) mold and indoor air quality, 2) fungal decay and termite infestations on structural integrity, and 3) fire in the current generation of wood frame structures. The program outlines the advances in and benefits associated with topical coating protections.
"We are extremely pleased with the reception the program has received and the widespread geographic participation by architects across the U. S. We are told this is an exceptional level of participation for a new program, and we believe it speaks volumes about the growing awareness and concern about indoor air quality, wood rot and fire," said Tom Comery, President and CEO of Eco. "Seeing this level of interest -- in just the first three months of the program -- solidly supports our belief that there is tremendous latent demand for robust solutions provided by topical coatings, such as our Eco Red Shield, that are environmentally sensitive and protect across all four dimensions of risk.
Mr. Comery added that it is not uncommon to see architects' specifications turn into product orders with the Company's dealers and distributors, within the first six months. "Working with architects and engineers is fundamental to creating demand for our channel partners".
