9,600-square-foot East Coast soundstage to provide rental space and production resources

LEOLA, Pa., Sept. 22, 2015 — (PRNewswire) —   Aurora Films has opened a turnkey soundstage and  production resource in Leola, PA. The 9,600-square-foot soundstage is centrally located near major East Coast metropolitan areas, including New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and Washington D.C.  

The climate controlled, soundproofed, Aurora Films soundstage features a 30-by-20-by-20-foot paintable, curved cyclorama wall. There is a green room, as well as a separate space for wardrobe, hair, and makeup. The soundstage is equipped with five CamLock boxes, 3,000 amps power, and a silent HVAC system. It is soundproofed using Acoustiblok, Insul-Quilt and six-inch QuietFiber panels.

The East Coast soundstage joins The Shadowlight Group 's 125,000-square-foot commercial photography studio on the same Leola campus to create a single-point solution for complete video, photography, and photorealistic CGI productions. Shadowlight designs and builds sets in-house, manages a 12,000-squarefoot prop warehouse, and offers a food styling kitchen. It employs a full staff of designers, stylists, carpenters, photographers, as well as Photoshop and CGI artists who provide imagery for globally recognized brands. Clients renting the soundstage will benefit from the option to also rent studio space, lights, grip and electric equipment. Clients can also rent stock sets, and utilize the talents of staff artisans, carpenters, gaffers, and grips.
