Covers the "Internet of Things" for Metrology and Manufacturing at Dreamforce

Sep 21, 2015 -- Hexagon Metrology today announced it is participating in the Salesforce IoT Cloud Early Access Program. Milan Kocic, Business Development Manager of UX and Innovation from Hexagon Metrology, spoke during a Dreamforce session on Thursday, September 17, about the power of connecting data from devices and sensors through the integration of Salesforce IoT Cloud powered by Thunder with Hexagon Metrology's IoT offering MMS Pulse. Providing actionable measurement and analysis information along the complete lifecycle of a manufactured product is the mantra of Hexagon Metrology. The collaboration with Salesforce is expected to pioneer new applications and standards for the industry.

At Dreamforce, Hexagon Metrology's pilot program was featured on the company's most popular coordinate measurement machine – the 4.5.4 SF CMM. The MMS PULSE system enables real-time monitoring of vibration, temperature, humidity, CMM status and more in manufacturing environments. Kocic was pleased to have the opportunity to demonstrate the integration of Hexagon Metrology and Salesforce products for Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce.
