CHGT Considering New Public 3D Scanning/Printing Services

HOUSTON — (BUSINESS WIRE) — August 18, 2015 — Changing Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: CHGT) may add public 3D scanning and printing services in the near future. This innovative new service, located at a mall or other public venue, would enable customers to have an accurate, full-color 3D model or figurine made of their head and/or body for personal use or to give as a unique gift or memento.

“This ‘3D virtual photo booth’ takes the ‘Glamour Shots’ concept to a whole new level,” said CHGT CEO Marco Valenzuela. “Now instead of a static photo, the customer gets a truly distinct and vibrant 3D rendering more dynamic and lifelike than any portrait. When we add this cutting-edge service to our 3D portfolio, we’ll have a diverse set of revenue streams adding to our shareholders’ value.”

Customers would undergo a laser and photo scan session, lasting just a few minutes. The data would be electronically translated into a digital 3D printable file to generate the final bust or figurine. Customers could choose the printing materials and once printed, pick up their finished keepsake to take home.

3D photo booths have become a popular attraction in Japan and are rapidly making their way to the United States. Customers have made a wide range of figurines – from simple selfies all the way to wedding cake toppers.
