Extending Attenda’s Hybrid IT capability with managed services for Microsoft Azure; the next logical step, providing a strong public cloud option for the enterprise.
London - August 13, 2015 - Attenda Limited, the Business Critical IT company, today announced that it is launching managed services for Microsoft Azure public cloud.
As an integral part of its Hybrid IT services capability, Microsoft Azure is the next logical step for Attenda’s portfolio of cloud services; with Microsoft Azure emerging as a leading public cloud option for the enterprise.
Attenda’s managed services for Microsoft Azure, coupled with the capability to review and transform enterprise workloads for public clouds, enables clients to exploit the extensive resources available with Microsoft Azure, within a flexible commercial model; whilst minimising the need to re-engineer their existing applications.
As Oliver Presland, Attenda Director, Service Strategy, comments, “With Microsoft Azure we can offer our enterprise clients a familiar and consistent range of public cloud services that can be readily embraced, to complement their existing outsourced or on-premises applications and infrastructure.”
The announcement of these new services builds upon Attenda’s extensive experience in managing business critical applications and infrastructure services for almost two decades. The managed services for Microsoft Azure will be delivered with the same high touch approach as for services from within Attenda’s own data centres, on client premises, and other Attenda managed public cloud platforms. The Microsoft Azure services are also delivered with an SLA that is matched to the business outcome enabled by the service.
The new Attenda service launch coincides with the announcement that Attenda has been selected to join the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) programme. This programme enables Attenda to manage its clients’ entire Microsoft cloud lifecycle for them, and provide rich managed services that wrap and deliver Microsoft cloud offerings within them.
Oliver Presland continues “Attenda has a deep and enduring partnership with Microsoft, and many clients with Microsoft technologies. We see our positioning in the Microsoft Azure partner ecosystem as an important step in our Hybrid IT strategy.”
With key involvement in some of the most high profile, on premise to public cloud transformation programmes in recent years, Attenda has built up its expertise and consultancy capability to optimise enterprise workloads for public cloud deployment. Its location and platform independent approach to Hybrid IT ensures that clients can adopt the right solution for their business, with applications running in the optimum location.
