Theorem Solutions’ V18.2 CATIA V5- NX CADverter is being released, complete with new product features and enhancements, which includes amongst others, added support for the Theorem Unified Interface.
The new UI acts as a productivity tool for existing users and a publishing tool for new users, and is there to aid in the development and streamlining of the user’s translation strategy, saving time and increasing productivity by allowing the data to be sifted through, filtered into what is necessary and then translated in batches at a suitable and convenient time for the user.
Integrated within the CATIA application, V18.2 supports V5 R19, R21, V5-6R2012, V5-6R2013, V5-6R2014 and V5-6R2015 as well as NX 8.5, NX 9.0 and NX 10 both bi-directionally and uni-directionally.
A number of enhancements have been made to enrich the process of exporting data containing PMI to 3DPDF. There is now an added PMI orientation update which allows PMI to be correctly orientated in a view, which is relative to the direction of the view when exporting data containing PMI to 3DPDF. There has also been an update to the NX read so that the standard views are now read by default. There has also been support added to read NX PMI associations when exporting the data.
Additional features to the NX Read capabilities include added reference set processing as the default, added seed part segregation support for parts and assemblies. An NX empty part option is also added to read empty parts to retain placeholders in assembly processing. The user is now also able to control how corrupt geometry is presented.
Theorem’s strategic partnerships with Dassault Systemes and Siemens ensures that there is parallel development between the latest releases of CATIA V5, NX and Theorem’s CADverter products, allowing Theorem to continue to provide data solutions for the CAD community.
