The first "An Evening Session" event will be held on July 8, 2015 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Los Angeles Recording School, located on the iconic Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, California. The event will also include a comprehensive campus tour, food and beverages, and features an opportunity to watch live in-studio recording sessions, test out the School's advanced recording and production equipment, listen to faculty lectures, speak with advisors about the various degree programs, and the opportunity to be awarded a $5,000 scholarship toward an onsite degree at The Los Angeles Recording School.
The campus tour will include a visit to the recently renovated historic Ivar Theatre, a 6,000-sqaure-foot live performance stage and production studio that hosts events and performances, and is home to the School's live-sound training lab. Recently the historic Ivar Theatre hosted the first Music Lifeboat benefit featuring performances by The Doors legendary guitarist, Robbie Krieger, Paul Oakenfold's first-ever DJ Camp, on-set filming of SKEE TV on Fuse network with live performances from SKEE TV guests including Tech N9e, Murs, Machine Gun Kelly, Action Bronson, Wu-Tang Clan member, Raekwon, and many other events.
