SAN JOSE, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — June 25, 2015 — The Adobe Foundation today announced the winners of the fourth annual Adobe Youth Voices (AYV) Awards, a global, online competition for students ages 13-19 who create digital media designed to drive positive change in their communities.
- A record 2,700 students submitted 1,575 projects on social issues including bullying, body image, human equality and climate change.
- The 15 winning projects were chosen from a pool of 53 finalists and 318,738 individual votes.
- AYV Award winners were chosen in five categories: animation, documentary, narrative, visual composition and social venture.
- All winners receive Adobe Creative Cloud as well as cash grants, hardware and Creative Cloud for the nonprofits that support their vision for change. All finalists are eligible to apply for an Adobe Creativity Scholarship, and social venture prize winners will receive mentorship from Ashoka Youth Ventures to help them address the social issue they want to solve.
