Jun 17, 2015 -- CyberCity 3D, Inc. (CC3D) announced today that it has completed its $1.2 million private financing investment round "C". The proceeds will be used to expand the Company’s 3D Streaming Maps and Smart Cities Platforms market share.
CyberCity 3D, Inc. (CC3D), based in southern California, provides smart 3D building data to platform providers including Autodesk, Esri and Google; cities such as Cambridge, Boston (BRA), Miami (MDDA) and London; and universities such as Harvard, M.I.T., and the University of Washington, among others.
CC3D's latest software solution creates unique, open architecture streaming content on a virtual 3D globe for urban mapping and planning intelligence. CC3D found the perfect first-mover streaming partner in Pennsylvania-based Analytical Graphics, Inc. (AGI). AGI is the founder and author of Cesium™, a free open-source WebGL virtual globe and map engine with 3D building streaming technology that allows for the fast delivery of smart city 3D building content into the browser without a plugin. This very fast streaming is enabled by the Cesium Content Server which readily processes and serves Terrain, Imagery, and 3D buildings into Cesium over the web. The unique combination of CC3D’s data-packed, precision buildings on the Cesium 3D globe enable the fastest possible visualization, distribution, and decision-making available in today's current web infrastructure.
"We are very excited to be combining our smart 3D GIS buildings with AGI's team at Cesium," stated Kevin DeVito, the Company's CEO. "The internet has changed everything, with the geospatial software market accelerating to the web. Now is the opportune time to stream 3D content to all mapping and BIM communities.”

CC3D also announced that it will be presenting its 3D Streaming Maps solutions in Cesium with AGI (Booth # 6127) at the GEOINT Symposium June 22-25th, the preeminent event of the year for the defense, intelligence and homeland security communities. CC3D will demonstrate and offer new streaming map solutions with its partner AGI there.
CC3D recently demonstrated its latest generation 3D streaming map with Cesium on June 15th, 2015. There are 80+ cities charted to be available for streaming services in 2015.
Last Sunday, the UK-based newspaper The Times’ Raconteur, featured CC3D as one of the " Top Ten Construction Innovations”.
