QUEBEC, QC, CANADA, April 30, 2015 - InnovMetric Software Inc. proudly announced today that worldwide demand for the PolyWorks universal 3D metrology software platform, in fiscal year 2014 (ending March 31, 2015), led to a 33% global sales revenue increase compared to the previous fiscal year. This growth was fueled by all-time record sales of 2435 new licenses of PolyWorks.
Several elements have contributed to this growth:
- PolyWorks sales in Japan have tripled, thanks to the successful setup of PolyWorks Japan and a fruitful cooperation with digitizing hardware manufacturers.
- PolyWorks sales in the USA have increased by 25%, as a result of the rise in manufacturing activities and the American economic recovery.
- Sales of new licenses and support/maintenance contracts in emerging markets (China, Brazil, Mexico, Thailand, and India) have grown significantly, as customers realized that InnovMetric’s subsidiaries and joint ventures offer the top-level technical support required to help them meet their business objectives.
“It is challenging for our customers to improve their efficiency and productivity year after year. One key element of our success is the high technical support standards we have set for ourselves, our subsidiaries, and joint ventures. We view technical support as the key to ensuring the success of our customers in their 3D metrology tasks. Our outstanding growth over the last 5 years demonstrates that our strategy is right on target,” said Marc Soucy, President of InnovMetric.
