Apr 15, 2015 -- In conjunction with the upcoming release of WorkNC Version 24, WorkNC CAM software will host a series of technicalsessions April 20-30 to introduce customers to the solution’s latest upgrades.
WorkNC, by Vero Software, is valued for its accuracy and dependability. This latest release includes comprehensive upgrades and enhancements designed to increase efficiency and make programming easier than ever before.
“It’s an opportunity for us to have some face time with our customers, and it gets people excited about they can expect to see in the product,” said Jeff Jaje, technical support manager for WorkNC, of the technical sessions.
The half-day WorkNC V24 technical sessions are conducted at no cost to customers, include complimentary lunch, and provide a front-row seat to customers who want to see firsthand all that V24 has to offer. Topics that will be addressed in the technical sessions include, among others:
- Entry point for roughing
- Re-roughing to more temporary stock models, including weld beads
- Z-level finish with cusp height
- All new re-machining cutter path
- Remaining stock visualization
- 2D enhancements
- 5-axis enhancements
- Plus much more
The sessions, which have been popular among WorkNC customers for more than a decade, also offer peer networking and WorkNC support opportunities. Application engineers will be present at the sessions to answer questions.
The technical sessions will be hosted in six different locations to provide convenient customer access to the latest version.
Those locations include Grand Rapids, MI, on April 20; Waukegan, IL, on April 21; Southfield, MI, on April 23; Cincinnati, OH, on April 27; Akron, OH, on April 28; and Windsor, ON, Canada, on April 30.
