Oxford, England. April 15, 2015 -- The PLM-IRF
Global Survey into Industrial Expectations for the Future of PLM is the first of 5 Actions to Shape the Future of PLM generated at the Launch Meeting in Brussels, Belgium in January.
The next two Actions are to hold an industry-wide meeting to discuss 'The Future of PLM in 2025'; and to set up a Steering Group for the initiative.
The Steering Group is part of the planned PLM-IRF structure that will eventually include a Management Board and directors or VPs of a formal legal organisation.
The future of PLM is too important to be left to chance, and it is important that the direction the PLM industry takes over the next 10 years is the right one. The Steering Group will be made up of forward-thinking PLM specialists who will provide high-level guidance for the PLM-IRF initiative during its formation, and throughout its lifetime.
More information about the PLM-IRF and how to become part of the Steering Group is available via
