Bristol, UK, 4 March 2015 – TVS, a leader in software test and hardware verification solutions, today announced that it has provided installation testing services for SOMNIUM® Technologies.  Under the contract TVS performed important installation testing of SOMNIUM® DRT, a complete software development environment for embedded systems.

SOMNIUM DRT provides ease of use improvements and uses SOMNIUM's patented resequencing technology to automatically optimise embedded software, resulting in smaller, faster executables. Prior to DRT’s general availability release, SOMNIUM wanted to be confident of the best out of the box experience for its customers, who use a wide variety of host platforms, so it contacted TVS for its proven, vast experience in this field.

Dave Edwards, Founder and CEO/CTO of SOMNIUM Technologies, stated, “Installation is the first step in the user experience, and it is often under-tested in real-user scenarios.
