Free*-to-attend international geospatial seminar series set to be biggest ever.
Feb 23, 2015 -- GeoAware, the events division of The GeoInformation Group, is pleased to announce that its registration for the 2015 series is now open ( www.geoaware.info).
This year’s annual series, themed “Technology. Tools. Techniques.” is set to be the biggest yet throughout its thirteen year history. Comprising eight events in all spanning Republic of Ireland, England, Belgium (co-hosted by GIM nv), The Netherlands (co-hosted by Imagem), Northern Ireland and Scotland, GeoAware expects to draw an even larger audience of professionals than ever before. Amsterdam returns to the programme and, for the first time, Cork is added to the list.
The GeoDATA 2015 dates and cities are as follows:
Dublin: 28 April 2015
Cork: 30 April 2015
Birmingham: 14 May 2015
Brussels: 9 June 2015
Amsterdam: 11 June 2015
Belfast: 5 November 2015
Edinburgh: 12 November 2015
London Showcase: 3 December 2015
Each event is a free*-to-attend, one-day, educational seminar comprising industry-focused presentations given by global experts at the forefront of geospatial innovation. They are designed to inspire, raise awareness and impart knowledge to those who use geospatial data, technology and services in their everyday work.
With a strong emphasis on learning and application, delegates will take back to the office new information and fresh ideas about the latest advances in geospatial technology and solutions.
The programme is complemented by a trade exhibition that will showcase and demonstrate many of the latest commercial developments. It’s a unique opportunity where delegates will benefit from face-to-face expert advice and guidance in one place.
Over the years GeoDATA has seen a shift from an audience predominantly comprising local government to a more diverse audience of professionals who utilise geospatial information across the insurance, defence, housing, utilities, telecoms and environmental sectors to name a few. Both accomplished practitioners and those new to the world of geographic information will find this event an invaluable experience.
GeoAware is delighted to announce media partners: GIM International (Geomares) and GeoConnexion in association with the series as well as the following associations and societies; AGI, BCS, ICES and TSA.
Exhibitors and presenters vary between venues. Further information and registration can be found on the website at www.geoaware.info. An exhibitor information pack can be obtained by emailing Email Contact
* GeoDATA is free to attend but a delegate fee may apply to: GIS software vendors/suppliers/resellers, data suppliers/resellers and mapping organisations.
