SAN JOSE, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — February 11, 2015 — SVForum, Silicon Valley’s premiere nonprofit dedicated to startup connections and education, announced today their upcoming half-day conference: “ The Future of Personalized Vehicles” to be held on February 18th, 2015, at Quadrus Conference Center in Menlo Park, California. Speakers and panelists include Jonathan Matus, CEO of ZenDrive; Danny Shapiro, Director of Automotive at NVIDIA; Mark Platshon, Managing Director at BMW iVentures; and Nancy Pfund, Founder and Managing Partner of DBL Investors. “SVForum is looking forward to hosting this conference,” said CEO Adiba Barney. “With the recent developments in vehicular technology—driverless cars, hybrid and electric vehicles, and dashboard internet connections—cars are about to experience a huge jump in both form and function. It’s exciting to watch it happen.”
“ Deloitte is proud to be sponsoring The Future of Personalized Vehicles,” stated Brian Goncher, director, Deloitte Services LP, and longtime SVForum board member. “There is limitless potential for technology companies in the world of transportation—much of daily life has benefited from advancements in technology, so it’s exciting to see cars receiving some much-needed reinvention and innovation. We’re looking forward to a great conference and an informative day.”
“ The Future of Personalized Vehicles” will explore the world of connected cars, from marketplace innovation to the emerging tech that will change the way we drive. Attendees will enjoy panel discussions from thought leaders in automotive innovation—and see some of the coolest new cars up close. “Personalized vehicles are the latest form of technology that is changing our experience and almost forcing us to stay ahead of the curve,” commented Herbert Stevens, a partner at conference sponsor Nixon Peabody LLP and their Chief Innovation Officer.
The conference will open for registration at 1:00 pm, and conclude at 6:00 pm. Tickets are available on the event page. Tech startups also have the opportunity to purchase demo and exhibitor tables.
