WinterLogic Announces Z01X 2.9 with YOGITECH Safety Verification flow integration and the Inspect Schematic Viewer

ROSEVILLE, MN, January 30, 2015 – WinterLogic, Inc., the industry leader in fault simulation, today announced release of Z01X 2.9 with integration into YOGITECH Functional Safety Verification flow, the Inspect Schematic Viewer, and performance optimizations designed to maximize fault simulation speed and accuracy for the most complex SoC designs.

Highlights:

  • Seamless integration into YOGITECH Functional Safety Verification flow.
  • Enhancements to the Inspect environment, including a powerful Schematic Viewer.
  • Performance optimizations for up to 10% faster simulations.
  • Multiple IDDQ fault models in a single run.
  • Advances to testability analysis for optimal fault selection and test ordering.

“Z01X 2.9 is now directly supported by YOGITECH’s Safety Verifier Tool Suite,” said Brian Davenport, WinterLogic’s Product Manager for Safety Verification. “Using YOGITECH’s fRMethodology based solutions to perform safety-oriented design exploration and verification, and Z01X to inject and simulate faults, IC manufacturers and IP providers can satisfy the requirements of functional safety standards such as ISO 26262 and IEC 61508. This integration makes safety verification easier and faster than ever before.”

“Leveraging Inspect’s powerful fault analysis environment, the Schematic Viewer adds a robust set of tools for visualizing faults,” stated Olivier Bolon, WinterLogic’s Director of Sales and Business Development “Schematics of the logic under test are annotated with coverage data, and the information is directly linked to Inspect’s Hierarchical Browser, Source Code Pane and Fault Pane.”

About Z01X

WinterLogic’s Z01X is the only commercial fault simulator with the capacity and performance to successfully fault grade the largest SoC for wireless, graphics, computing, and automotive. It is used for both RTL and gate-level fault simulation, and is up to 10X faster than any other fault simulator on the market.

With its advanced feature set, speed and capacity, WinterLogic’s Z01X is the tool of choice for meeting stringent automotive manufacturing and safety standards. Z01X is capable of exhaustively injecting and simulating faults on complex automotive microcontrollers to verify safety logic and develop robust diagnostic tests and Software Based Self-Tests (SBST).

About WinterLogic

WinterLogic provides Z01X, the most powerful fault simulator on the market. When used for SoC, low power devices, mixed-signal IP, and custom chips, Z01X’s Manufacturing Assurance tools help companies hit their quality targets and reduce testing costs. Used during Functional Safety Verification, Z01X provides qualification of safety mechanisms according to standards such as ISO 26262 (automotive) or IEC 61508 (industrial). In Verification Assurance, Z01X uses functional fault simulation to quickly identify untested areas in RTL designs and weaknesses in test suites and diagnostic tests.
