NOMi Launches Brickstream 3D LIVE, the First Analytics Sensor With Loss Prevention Capabilities

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- Jan 09, 2015 -- NOMi, the dominant in-store marketing and analytics provider, today announced the first and only sensor to combine 3D stereo analytics with a high resolution video camera for loss prevention. After announcing Brickstream 3D LIVE last year, NOMi has been working with their global network of partners to beta test the analytics and loss prevention capabilities of the new sensor. With the beta program now completed, Brickstream 3D LIVE is available for order around the world.

When designing the Brickstream 3D LIVE sensor, NOMi started with its patented 3D stereo technology, deployed it on a new hardware platform and then added ONVIF™ compliant video. The unique combination of analytics and high-resolution video makes Brickstream 3D LIVE a compelling option for organizations looking to maximize use of a single infrastructure and reduce expenses.

"Many organizations are currently using older analog based devices with limited functionality," said Yamini Kagal, Director of Product Management at NOMi. "Companies who have evaluated Brickstream 3D LIVE are excited about having an IP-based analytics sensor that includes high-resolution video capture and accepts third party USB peripherals. It greatly expands their deployment options."

The Brickstream 3D LIVE sensor adds to the already expansive line of NOMi's Brickstream™ sensors which include Brickstream 3D, Brickstream 3D+, WiFi APs and iBeacons. This robust sensor suite ensures NOMi can accommodate any deployment scenario from temporary pop-up stores to permanent installations. The results speak for themselves with more than 125,000 sensors deployed worldwide.
