SHEFFIELD - 17 November, 2014 - MachineWorks Ltd, leading provider of CNC simulation and verification software will be showing new software advances and celebrating 20 years of manufacturing software at Euromold 2014 on Hall 8, Stand H09, 25-28 November.
MachineWorks CNC Simulation display in Hall 8
Leading CNC control manufacturers
FANUC and
FIDIA will both have a dedicated area at the MachineWorks stand showing demos with MachineWorks software driving their simulation. Specific APIs have been developed to
optimise CNC controls, not just to run
simulation in real time but to also simultaneously check for collisions. MachineWorks technology develops true solid modelling to detect gouges and clashes. Rather than using sampling technology that can lead to crashes, MachineWorks uses the swept volume that guarantees no collision goes undetected in the envelope of the machine.
The beauty of MachineWorks toolkit is its
flexibility. MachineWorks libraries can offer solutions that range from a simple tool and stock simulation to a complex real-time anti-collision system.
Further to the control dedicated area, the MachineWorks stand will be displaying a range of demos showing the new features from the latest release, including "
intelligent multithreading" and support for mobile operating systems. The MachineWorks algorithms have been optimised to increase their performance while maintaining stability.
MachineWorks team is expanding
MachineWorks is currently recruiting. They are looking for software developers and quality assurance testers to join the
strong technical team. Based in Sheffield, the CNC simulation and solid modelling software engineers provide cutting-edge manufacturing software for MachineWorks' global customer base. MachineWorks' focus is to push the software further and keep a step ahead of customers' requirements.
Celebrating 20 years of Manufacturing Software
MachineWorks' rigorous testing procedures get put to the test not just in the office but in the real world by customers using their software in a real environment. The
long term partnerships forged after years of working together on innovative projects have allowed MachineWorks to accumulate a wealth of experience to support any challenges.
IMTS 2014 gave MachineWorks the opportunity to say thank you in person to many customers. At Euromold 2014, the MachineWorks team will be welcoming customers to carry on the celebrations on Stand H09 in Hall 8.
Mike Nicholson, Sales Director of MachineWorks said "We hope to see as many faces in Europe as we saw in the USA"
MachineWorks double the presence at Euromold in Halls 8 and 11
MachineWorks Ltd also has a polygonal solid modelling toolkit, Polygonica, which is well suited for the 3D printing market. Euromold has seen an increase on the focus of
additive manufacturing technologies and services which has lead to a strategic decision. Cristina Sesma, Marketing Manager of MachineWorks said "We felt that this year, on the 21st edition of Euromold, Polygonica should have its own stand in Hall 11 independently from MachineWorks stand in Hall 8"
