DCS to Showcase 3DCS for CATIA V6 3DEXPERIENCE at the Upcoming 3DEXPERIENCE Forum North America

DCS, provider of 3DCS CAA V5 Based software for CATIA Version 5 now has a fully integrated version of 3DCS for CATIA V6 3DExperience and will be demonstrating this powerful solution at the 3DExperience Forum North America in Las Vegas, Nevada

Oct 30, 2014, Troy, MI – Dimensional Control Systems, Inc. (DCS) is proud to announce the integration and rollout of 3DCS Variation Analyst (3DCS), DCS’s flagship dimensional analysis tool, as part of the 3DExperience supporting Dassault Systemes 3D Master initiative to improve cost and quality throughout the Product Development Process. As part of showcasing this new product, DCS will be presenting 3DCS at Dassault Systemes’ 3DExperience Forum North America November 10th through the 12th in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

As the first Dassault Systemes Gold Partner for CATIA Version 5, DCS has integrated its variation analysis tool, 3DCS, into the 3DExperience bringing powerful tolerance analysis and variation control into the 3DExperience environment. This integration supports the 3DExperience PLM as it integrates tools and solutions into a single environment to empower companies to design and collaborate in new and profound ways.

As a CATIA V5-6 integrated solution, this continuation of 3DCS’s inclusion in Dassault Systemes’ PLM solutions showcases the long partnership DCS and Dassault Systemes have shared, and the continued success the two will achieve.

“Integrating 3DCS into CATIA V5 in 2002 was a fundamental element of the global success of 3DCS,” said John Mathieson, DCS President and CEO. “Now, 3DCS is fully integrated into CATIA V6 3DExperience, utilizing the cutting edge of engineering technology, and contributing to the future of PLM.”

By encompassing dimensional analysis as part of design and manufacturing in the 3DExperience, users can do more than create incredible products; they can optimize those products to reduce rework, non-conformance issues, warranty risks and scrap. By creating a virtual prototype with 3DCS manufacturing companies are empowered to make design decisions prior to expensive tooling kick-off and identify critical to quality characteristics before heading into production.

Join DCS at the 3DExperience Forum North America to learn how the latest innovations in technology are changing the way the automotive, aerospace, consumer goods and medical device industries design tomorrow’s products.
