International IT services provider and outsourcer combines its North American operations with US-based Microsoft Dynamics AX specialist
LONDON, 27th October 2014 - Hampleton Partners has acted as financial advisor to SAGlobal and Greenlight BTS in structuring and completing a merger of both companies’ US operations. The merger will see the integration of Greenlight BTS’ team members and customer base into SAGlobal's worldwide operations.
The new combined entity becomes part of the SAGlobal group which spans six continents and 17 countries. Oli Gunnarsson, principal, Greenlight BTS, stated: "Greenlight BTS’s mature Dynamics AX US practice is a perfect complement to SAGlobal's international reach." Oli went on to state, “This partnership brings together a great team of Microsoft Dynamics AX specialists that will help our combined firm continue to develop innovative service offerings that not only help our clients succeed today but also set the path for long-term, sustainable success." Stephen James, CEO of SAGlobal added: “We have worked extremely successfully over many years with Greenlight BTS and this merger cements that relationship and provides us with a platform to further build upon our combined strengths and better serve our customers.”
With respect to the transaction, Stephen James emphasised: “The team at Hampleton proved to be invaluable in the process of getting all the respective stakeholders to see eye to eye. Without their advice and support throughout, we never would have overcome the various hurdles which came up along the way.”
