October 20, 2014 -- Vero Software will be exhibiting its VISI brand at Fabtech 2014.
With over 27,000 visitors expected at the three day show from November 11 to 13, at Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress, it is the perfect showcase for the new and enhanced functionality in the latest release.
Visitors to booth #B39 will see demonstrations of VISI 20, and the latest release, V21, including the software’s intuitive CAD interfaces, flexible strip layout, 2-5 axis machining, and standard parts libraries. As an all-in-one CAD/CAM solution, VISI 21 has a lot to offer the metalforming and fabrication industry. Updated CAD developments include new technology for managing multiple instances of the same geometry. VISI has always maintained a leading position in managing large amounts of CAD data, and ease of use. Visitors to Fabtech will see how these key features are extended in the new release, enabling components to be modified quicker and more efficiently. Users will find higher levels of data and improved tools for creating geometry. VISI 21 also includes enhanced kinematic simulation tools for previewing the real movement of tooling – ideal when validating design and checking for collisions.
CAM updates include a number of enhancements within the user interface, improving the methods and availability of options. Using dialogs and variables is now simpler and there are more automated features. Additional types of toolpath strategies have been incorporated into Hybrid Machining, extending the technology’s ability to create new toolpaths that intelligently adapt the shape of their motions.
