Sep 4, 2014 -- Civil Survey Solutions recently released Advanced Road Design Imperial - a civil design/drafting program for road, stormwater and site design for the US market.
Advanced Road Design Imperial operates on AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD and MAP 2011 and later versions and BricsCAD 14.
Advanced Road Design Imperial is free for a limited time period. Users will receive a commercial, permanent license when they download the software from www.advancedroaddesign.com
In addition to the free license, users will have access to technical support, software updates and E-learning for twelve months. At the end of the twelve month period, users can opt to pay $195 annual subscription to continue to receive technical support, software updates and E-learning.
Advanced Road Design is used extensively throughout Australia by land development engineers and local government and in Europe for highway design – with 20 mile sections including road and drainage being handled with ease.
Advanced Road Design Imperial offers highly automated road design tools for subdivisional road networks including intersections, cul-de-sacs, knuckles and roundabouts. Road reconstruction tools enable users to design around the constraints of existing infrastructure.
Advanced Road Design Imperial will enable users of old Autodesk software (Versions 2011 and upward) to convert their drafting tools into civil design tools. Users of Civil 3D will find string and template road design tools to create scalable road projects outputting directly to Civil 3D.
Advanced Road Design, when combined with BricsCAD, provides a low cost and technically advanced civil design solution.
Advanced Road Design Imperial is compliant with AASHTO and US plotting standards.
