CarSync™ now integrated with the Mentor Embedded Automotive Technology Platform
SAN DIEGO — (BUSINESS WIRE) — June 4, 2014 — Arynga, Inc., an innovator and leader in the delivery of intelligent vehicle software management solutions, announced its recent partnership with the Embedded Software Division of Mentor Graphics®, a leader in Linux-based infotainment, automotive software and network design. The two companies publicized this partnership today at the 2014 Telematics Update Conference in Detroit, where Mentor debuted the integration of CarSync™, Arynga’s software update management platform, with the Mentor Embedded Automotive Technology Platform (ATP).
The demonstration showcased an Over-The-Air (OTA) software update to a Freescale i.MX6 SoC running Mentor’s ATP, a GENIVI-compliant, Linux-based infotainment platform, integrated with Arynga’s CarSync In-Vehicle Gateway (CIVG).

This integration demonstrates an end-to-end implementation of CarSync architecture, providing Mentor’s robust ATP with fully integrated OTA-enabled functionality. This alleviates the need for feature development by a System Integrator, Tier 1, ISV, OSV or other 3rd party. Arynga and Mentor consider this integration as the first step in their collaboration to accelerate the delivery of secure and managed software updates in vehicles.
