Now Offering 3D Printers to Illinois Due to High Demand
MILWAUKEE – May 6, 2014 -- Graphics Systems Corp. is pleased to announce the expansion of their 3D printing business. As a result of high demand and continued business growth, Graphics Systems now sells Stratasys 3D printers in Illinois. This new expansion allows Graphics Systems to meet the growing demand for 3D printers in the Illinois region.
Adam Kasinskas, Graphics Systems Sales Manager says, “With how fast the 3D printing market is growing, we’re very excited to be able to offer this technology to engineering companies in Illinois. 3D printers help companies achieve accelerated time to market and fewer manufacturing errors. Plus, by keeping the prototyping in-house there is also a big cost savings.
Graphics Systems currently offers both Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) and PolyJet Stratasys 3D printers to customers in Illinois and Wisconsin. FDM builds concept models, functional prototypes and end-use parts in standard, engineering-grade and high-performance thermoplastics. PolyJet 3D printers feature 16-micron layers with accuracy as high as 0.1 mm for smooth surfaces, thin walls and complex geometries. It is the only technology that supports a range of materials with properties from rubber to rigid and transparent to opaque.
"I think many businesses are realizing the benefits of investing in a 3D printer, and we’re glad to help out their business by being their partner in 3D printing,” said Dave Kasinskas, president of Graphics Systems. “We saw the need for 3D printers rapidly growing in Illinois, and this is a great opportunity to expand our 3D printing offerings to companies in Illinois.
