The following are biographies of the advisory board members:
Nancy Liang
New York based Nancy Liang is currently the Co-Founder of Mixee Labs, a platform for 3D designers to create customizable consumer products, which can be sold online. Previously, Nancy ran the Materials Product Group at Shapeways, a leading US 3D print service bureau company based in New York. Nancy studied Cognitive Science at Yale.
Ben Yan
Currently the CEO of GoHotZone.com, Ben Yan has more than 35 years of extensive management experience with Fortune 50 companies, including Hewlett-Packard, Sun Microsystems and Abbott Laboratories. During his time at HP, Ben was involved in several areas including Channel Management in distribution, setting up the dealer network, and other industry sectors, such as government, telecom, natural resources, system integration, ISV (independent software vendor) and financial services. Ben also co-founded GT Group Telecom, where revenues exceeded $225 million CAD annually, with a market cap of more than $1.2 billion dollars. He is currently a director of GiniClub.com, and held previous senior management positions with SinoFibre Communications and Municipal Software.
Russel Hiebert
Russel Hiebert, BA, LLB, MBA has been a Canadian Member of Parliament for ten years. He has practiced law at a national law firm and owned and operated a software company. He is currently completing the Institute of Corporate Directors Education Program and serves as a director of a mining exploration company, a land development company, an international parliamentary association, and a Belgium-based public policy think tank. Domestically, Russel has experience with legislative and regulatory changes, infrastructure funding applications, government relations, media relations and communications.
Mark Addison
Mark Addison is a technology entrepreneur, investor, and international marketing consultant based in Silicon Valley. Mark was a former vice president of GolinHarris (sold to Interpublic Group). He co-founded Silicon Valley Forum (formerly SVASE), which is now the largest entrepreneur network in California, and he has helped several companies through their IPO process. Mark is currently chairman of Rocket Science, an international tech PR firm based in San Francisco, with clients in Finland, Germany, Israel, Korea and North America. Mark studied architecture at the University of California, Berkeley (and licensed several furniture designs that are still in production today), and obtained an MBA degree from UCLA.
Russ Krywolt
Russ has been a technology entrepreneur for his own companies (both private and public) and an advisor/board member of other companies for 20 years. Russ obtained his B.Sc. (with distinction) from the University of Lethbridge in 1990 and a Master of Science in Computer Graphics from UBC in 1993.
Advisory Agreement
Tinkerine also announces that it has signed a letter agreement (the "Agreement") with Mackie Research Capital Corporation ("MRCC"), whereby MRCC has agreed to act, for an initial four month term, as a non-exclusive financial advisor to the Company in connection with the introduction to potential investors and/or strategic partners for the purpose of negotiating potential investments or partnerships by such parties. As compensation for providing advisory services, and subject to the prior approval of the TSX Venture Exchange, the Company will pay to MRCC a work fee of $18,000 immediately and an additional $4,500 at the end of each month (4 months in total), and issue to MRCC 175,000 broker warrants, each of which will give MRCC the right to acquire one common share of the Company at a price of $0.45 per share until October 4, 2014. Any securities issued to MRCC in connection with the Agreement will be subject to a hold period of four months and one day under applicable Canadian securities laws.
