April 24, 2014 -- CL3VER, the cloud based platform for interactive 3D on any device, releases the most requested feature by its users: Offline publishing.
After the CL3VER 2.0 release users and followers have continuously asked about the possibility to make the CL3VER scenes available without the dependence of a internet connection. The CL3VER team has responded with a new feature called “Offline publishing” that now enables users to download the 3D scene and open it anytime.
The importance of Offline Publishing
Often projects and designs must be available in places where there is no or limited internet connection. Some examples of that are: countries with low internet penetration, tradeshows, at the construction site, at informal meetings in a bar or even on a plane.
Since CL3VER presentations are easy to explore as visiting a web page they give our users the advantage to be able to communicate ideas and designs to clients without the need of visiting them, just sharing a link is enough. Now, via “Offline publishing” CL3VER users can share scenes with any client with limited or no internet connection just by sending over the CL3VER file that can be downloaded once and then is available anytime.
How does Offline scene works?
Once the CL3VER presentation is ready the file is available for download with a click of a button. The file has extension .html and it can be opened with any browser that support WebGL.
More information about how the “Offline publishing” works is available in this tutorial.
