Provenance Hotels Will Operate the Beach Front Hotel at Pier Avenue and the Strand

April 17, 2014 - Hermosa Beach, Calif. - Bolour Associates, a privately-owned real estate investment, development and finance company, and Provenance Hotels (Provenance), a full-service hospitality development and management company, announced today that HKS Hill Glazier Studio has been selected to design a boutique hotel in Hermosa Beach. This will be one of a handful of direct beach access hotels in Southern California. It will front palm-tree lined pedestrian Pier Avenue and overlook the City’s iconic beach volleyball courts.

“We’ve been looking for the right architectural firm that can capture the essence of Hermosa’s beach town lifestyle and bike-friendly culture. The project design will include vibrant, new restaurants and retail that the community has been seeking to attract to downtown. “We’re exploring several options that we think will provide a revitalized space that Hermosa residents and visitors alike can enjoy,” said Adam Eisenberg, Director of Community Development for the project. "In addition, we plan to host community dialogue events during the design process, with the first meeting expected to take place in late May."

Bolour Associates and Provenance acquired the beachfront parcel in May 2013 and serve as the project’s co-developers.
