April 16, 2014 -- The CloudEO Farming Challenge is looking for exciting and promising business ideas for commercial geo-services in agriculture and forestry as specific challenge of the 2014 Copernicus Masters. The proposed services need not, but can make use of the unique data, software, and infrastructure environment CloudEO provides. CloudEO will grant efficient access to all types of satellite, aerial, and weather data (including from Sentinel satellites) and a powerful development and processing environment. To market their services, participants can use the CloudEO store, which is capable of handling everything from customer registration and verification to invoicing. Participants will also have access to commercial means of distribution such as streaming technology, OCG Web Services and other leading tools like Google Maps Engine (including the corresponding API).
