DAT/EM Systems International Selected as Photogrammetric Software Provider for the Ordnance Survey, Great Britain

Anchorage, Alaska, USA. April 9, 2014 – Ordnance Survey, Great Britain has selected DAT/EM Systems International® as their primary photogrammetric mapping software provider. The Summit Evolution™ software will be used for GIS and land base feature capture and editing for their mapping programs within Great Britain.

Ordnance Survey purchased 35 Summit Evolution licenses after a yearlong trial period based on its ability to easily integrate with their data capture and maintenance software, Object Editor. Summit Evolution by DAT/EM Systems International is known for its interfacing capabilities which DAT/EM continues to expand as their clients and technologies change and grow.

In April of 2014, DAT/EM Systems International will provide custom training to Ordnance Survey staff for their Summit Evolution Professional and Feature Collection licenses.  The training will include techniques to successfully utilize the extensive features of the Summit Evolution digital mapping software in the Ordnance Survey’s unique production environment.
