Rosoka Software now includes machine learning and unlearning, language updates for over 40 languages, and new capabilities with enterprise databases.
HERNDON, Va., April 2, 2014 — (PRNewswire) — Rosoka Software, a leading Natural Language Processing (NLP) software company announces a new version of Rosoka and Rosoka GeoGravy which will significantly enhance the capabilities of its line of natural language processing and geospatial analysis product lines. Rosoka and Rosoka GeoGravy are a family of products that include entity and relationship extraction, language identification, geotagging, and geospatial analysis for over 230 languages.Rosoka 3.2 now has the capacity for machine learning and unlearning of entities and semantic vectors which will give customers greater visibility and accuracy when processing large amounts of Big Data. The products also include sample code to populate MySQL and Mongo DB databases and the Neo4J triple store which eliminates the need for additional development.
In the Rosoka LxBase 3.2 release, there are language updates for Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Russian, Spanish, Thai, Ukrainian, and 32 other languages. Additionally, this new version of software has improved recognition of African languages such as Bambara, Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo and Kiswahili. This addresses an important issue in the areas of civilian and military intelligence as the needs for analyzing documents on a global scale have significantly increased. Rosoka Software is the only multilingual natural language processing software that supports over 230 languages in one product, without the need to purchase additional language modules or cartridges.
In addition to the improvements in the Rosoka product line, the 3.2 version products include a new offering called Rosoka Name Resolver, which is a set of API's that will allow the user to compare two names to get a weighted probability of similarity between the names and generate a list of variant forms of a name. Rosoka Name Resolver provides a better understanding of similar names in the structured data and indicates whether they are really the same person. For example, Rosoka Name Resolver will rate the likelihood of "Thomas" and "Tom" being the same person in your data analysis.
Rosoka GeoGravy software provides the benefit of adding locations, cities, buildings, roads, landmarks and facilities to your Big Data management solutions. With this release, Rosoka GeoGravy is now available to port to enterprise databases, such as Oracle, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server, which give the user greater access and control over the Rosoka GeoGravy Gazetteer.
"We are continually striving to increase the performance and capabilities of our products, and with this release I believe we are setting a new standard in the industry for Natural Language Processing and Geospatial Analysis. These improvements are a direct result of feedback from our customers and we are excited to help them gain greater visibility into their data and improve the quality of their results", said Gregory Roberts, President and CEO of Rosoka Software.
Rosoka and Rosoka GeoGravy 3.2 products are available immediately as stand-alone products, a cloud service, and can be integrated into customized Big Data solutions and applications.
