Dedication to Serving Industry Beyond Their Years
BANNOCKBURN, Ill., USA, March 20, 2014 — While induction into some Halls of Fame normally signals long-standing contributions that are honored at retirement, members of IPC’s newly formed Ambassador’s Council are sidelining their golden years to continue serving IPC and the electronics manufacturing industry. Comprising members of the IPC Hall of Fame, the appropriately named Ambassadors are using their experience and expertise to offer advice and guidance to IPC and its programs in order to further advance the electronics industry.
“IPC has embarked on several ambitious initiatives dedicated to increasing member value, and the creation of the Ambassador’s Council now gives the staff a “Hall of Fame” channel to identify and develop robust ideas to increase the scope of standards, membership growth and government relations on a global basis,” said Sanjay Huprikar, vice president of Member Success. “The Hall of Famers possess a wealth of knowledge, experience and insights into the future, and we look forward to their continued high level of dedication and contribution to the industry.”
Ambassador Council members include Dieter Bergman, IPC; Jack Bramel, Bramel & Associates; Walt Custer, Custer Consulting Group; Don Dupriest, Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control; Dan Feinberg, Fein-line Associates; Jack Fisher, Interconnect Technology Analysis; Denny Fritz, MacDermid Inc.; Lionel Fullwood, WKK Distribution Ltd. One of the first IPC initiatives that the Council will pursue is the dissemination of trusted information on counterfeit components.
