Silego Technology Introduces 50% Smaller Dual 4.5A Full Featured Load Switch

Amazing CuFETTM technology enables high performance dual 16 mΩ GreenFET3™ Load Switches in 1.0 x 3.0 mm package

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — March 17, 2014 — Silego Technology introduces the SLG59M1527V, a 16 mΩ dual channel GreenFET3 load switch product based on Silego’s proprietary sub-micron copper power FET technology. This load switch can handle 4.5A max current per channel for 9.0A total. The device uses Silego’s CuFETTM technology to achieve low RDSON, smallest form factor and improved reliability.

The SLG59M1527 is a full-featured dual channel load switch packaged in a 14-pin STDFN 1.0 x 3.0 mm package. Each channel can be configured and enabled independently. This device features a linear voltage ramp under dynamic loading conditions. The ramp rate on each channel can be independently adjusted by the designer using external capacitors. The device can switch power rails in the range from 1.0 V to 5.5 V, up to 4.5A continuous current for each channel. The load switch also includes discharge circuit, over current limit protection, short circuit protection and thermal shutdown protection.
