February 10, 2014 -- For the last 50 years, the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain (PESGB) has promoted the education, for the benefit of the public, in the scientific and technical aspects of petroleum exploration.
To ensure that their vital work is known and understood by a wider audience, the Society has retained technical B2B marketing agency, Quarry One Eleven to manage the promotion of their activities.
Quarry One Eleven staff combine understanding of technical disciplines with practical knowledge and experience of marketing specialist products and services.
Executive Director, Guy Elliott explained more about the plans the PESGB has for 2014: “As we enter our 50th year we are pleased to be able to celebrate this significant milestone with three flagship events, our fourth annual Stoneley Lecture to be given by Dallas Campbell on ‘Unlocking the secrets of the red planet’ and 2 events comprising a technical conference and black tie dinner to celebrate the past 50 years and look forward at the challenges and opportunities ahead.”
In response Alistair Maclenan, Founder and CEO of Quarry One Eleven said; “The PESGB does remarkable things. They support MSc students through sponsorship, in PETEX they manage one of the world’s largest oil and gas exhibitions, and they have a full year of presentations and social events. Our role is to bring the activities of this incredibly active organisation to as wide an audience as possible. It is a challenge we are relishing.”
