Software development company scales up to build on ARM agreement and market momentum
Cambridge, UK, 27 January 2014 ----- Undo Software today announced major company growth, moving to new, larger offices and expanding its workforce by over 30%. Undo provides solutions for reversible debugging of Linux and Android software, enabling developers to record their program’s execution and then rewind their code in real-time to find bugs more quickly, saving time and reducing cost.
The new Cambridge offices, which are four times larger than the previous headquarters, are part of ambitious plans to scale the business up after reaching several major milestones in 2013. ARM integrated the company’s UndoDB software into ARM DS-5 Professional Edition, its flagship software development studio; sales expanded within multiple markets, including enterprise, design automation and scientific computing, and the company launched UndoDB version 4, which supports ARM processors and Android Native.
Additionally, in 2013 an experienced panel of entrepreneurs and investors nominated Undo as a company set to reach annual revenues of $100million within the next five years. The nomination was part of the Silicon Valley Comes to the UK (SVC2UK) event ( http://www.svc2uk.com/).
As part of its ambitious plans Undo will raise further investment in 2014 and use this to fund sales and marketing expansion, including attracting new partners and entering new markets. Staff numbers have grown by 30% already in 2014, and Undo expects to add further to its team during the year.
“2013 proved our technology, business model and commercial strategy – this year we will invest in order to scale the company and expand our customer base,” said Greg Law, CEO and co-founder, Undo Software. “Software runs our world today – our UndoDB tool provides a unique way of quickly finding and removing bugs, speeding up development and reducing costs. We’re poised for fast expansion in 2014 and our new office will be the springboard for this growth, providing us with the space and flexibility for the exciting next stage of our development.”
The new 855 ft2 offices are located in Signet Court, on Newmarket Road in Cambridge. The development is a hub for growing businesses, with other tenants including software, hardware and consultancy organisations.
