The latest recruits to Edgecam's expanding Indian reseller, Kriatec, prompted an intensive training session for ten application engineers, providing them with a sound knowledge of the leading CAM solution from Vero Software.
Kriatec Managing Director Ajitha Prabhu says: "The continuous investment in our technical teams ensures we're able to deliver the highest possible level of support to our ever-expanding user base in India. And training plays a major part in that."
Edgecam Pre-Sales Manager Lee Richards conducted four days advanced training at Kriatec's headquarters in Chennai, on the new revolutionary Workflow interface, part modeller and the software's extensive 5-axis machining capabilities.
"Being able to deliver multiple product training classes over the week has allowed the engineers to hone their skills in all areas of the product. This will enable them to continue the high standard of support being delivered to customers in India," he said.
"Although this was the first formal Edgecam training for a number of Kriatec's new engineers, it was evident that the Kriatec team were committed to learning new features of the software throughout the week with lots of positive technical discussions within the group. With their newly acquired skills and the latest release of Edgecam software, Kriatec's technical team are ready to deliver world class solutions to India's high demanding manufacturing sector."
