November 15, 2013 - A recent seven day series of WorkNC Tech Sessions gave WorkNC end-users the opportunity to witness first hand many of the upgrades soon to be released, offering them the chance to network with other WorkNC users while meeting some members of the WorkNC team.

“The main reason end-users need to attend events like this is to prepare themselves for the upcoming release, by letting them know what to look for when the release goes live. As the saying goes, “they don’t know what they don’t know” and this prepares them with an overview of the upgrade.” according to Shawn Schwartz, Direct Sales and OEM Manager, WorkNC.

Many attendees to the Tech Session share the same feelings as, Mike Morren, Owner, Pinnacle Tool, saying, “Attending events like this gives us a heads-up on what we can expect and what to look for in the upcoming release. It also gives us the chance to interact with other manufactures in the area, sharing what each is able to do with WorkNC.”

According to Melissa Shackleford, Anderson Global, “This is the perfect opportunity to get ourselves familiarized with all of WorkNC’s new enhancements. If we did not attend Tech Sessions like this, we probably would miss out on many of the enhancements, leaving us behind other manufacturers.”

Some of the V22 new features include: Inserting photos, revolution profile creation, new stock type, Die Flat Roughing, Die Flat Finishing, roughing improvements, ISO finishing, 3D Finishing, new spiral movements, pencil trace to stock model, thread milling, toolpath transformations, machine context, clamping elements, 5-axis changes, 5-axis editing and more.
