Hart Energy Asks Court to Silence American Energy Mapping (AEM) according to AEM

As AEM Seeks Truth about How Hart Energy Committed Fraud, Hart Energy tries to Hush the Matter

HOUSTON, Oct. 16, 2013 — (PRNewswire) — American Energy Mapping announced today that Hart Energy, the Defendants in a lawsuit accusing them of Fraud and Negligent Misrepresentation, has asked the court to prevent AEM from discussing certain details with the Oil and Gas GIS Industry.  The specific details they requested to be hindered reveal AEM's belief that, based on written communications from Hart Energy, AEM's data offerings have been shared with Hart's current and prospective clients without a proper license agreement with AEM or proper payment to AEM.

This lawsuit is not to be confused with Hart Energy's other lawsuit where they are also being accused of Breach of Contract, Interference of Proposed Contract and Slander.  (Lynch versus Hart Energy Mapping and Data Services, Case Number LACV 057984, Iowa District Court).  "Hart Energy wants to sweep this under the rug and prevent the industry from learning the truth," says Damien Wolff, owner of AEM.  "It's wrong to try and stifle me.  It's not my job to protect Hart Energy's secrets.  After all, they admitted their actions in writing already, and it's too late to try and hide it now."

American Energy Mapping is a client-focused Oil and Gas GIS Data provider which is comprised of a team of professionals that has a combined experience of over 20 years of providing information to a diverse set of industries.  AEM currently provides several layers of information within several different datasets including but not limited to Natural Gas, Liquids, Crude Oil, Petroleum Products, Pipelines, Facilities, Wells, Land Grid, and Renewable Energy GIS Data.
