August 15, 2013 -- NJVC® is pleased to announce that Lynn DeCourcey, vice president and general manager, cyber security, was named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award in the IT executive of the year category for the 10th Annual International Business Awards—one of the world’s premier awards programs. More than 3,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry and from more than 50 nations and territories were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala awards banquet at the W Hotel in Barcelona, Spain on Oct. 14.
DeCourcey leads NJVC’s cyber security program, from both corporate and customer standpoints. Her team provides information security services to the most demanding IT enterprises in the world, including the U.S. defense and intelligence communities—and have has received numerous accolades from customers and national awards for their work in support of national security. Ms. DeCourcey oversees the company’s cyber security strategic plan, drives and spearheads innovation toward managed security services and solutions and develops and implements a business development plan that is targeted to customers, current and new, whose missions are enabled by national critical infrastructure. Ms. DeCourcey has been widely recognized in the IT community—both nationally and in the Washington metropolitan area—as a cyber-security thought leader. She is a prolific speaker at industry events and is also a hands-on mentor to high-school students interested in a future career in cyber security.
