August 12, 2013 -- Coherent Logix, Inc. and Intrinsic-ID have collaborated in the development of embedded security features in the latest HyperX™ Software Defined System processor from Coherent Logix. In the agreement, Coherent Logix licensed Intrinsic-ID's Hardware Intrinsic Security™ (HIS) technology.  This HIS technology is based on an innovative way to protect critical data in an integrated circuit by extracting the "electronic fingerprint" of the chip.

"Software Defined Systems (SDS) that can do both wireless and video processing in software in the same system are the new trend as video continues to drive the wireless bandwidth explosion," said Manuel Uhm, Vice President of Marketing for Coherent Logix. HIS technology addresses several fundamental challenges in embedded systems security such as secure boot, flexible key provisioning and management, and hardware/software binding.
