Since its inception, more than 60,000 attendees worldwide have benefited from the extensive technical training and collaboration opportunities FTF delivers. More than 2,000 attendees – including embedded engineers, industry experts, media representatives, executives and ecosystem partners – are expected at the 2014 FTF Americas event. Engineers who have attended previous FTF events speak highly of the experience:

  • “Thanks to the technical sessions at FTF we expect to cut 1-2 weeks off our initial board bring up.”
  • “The sessions that are at FTF are so broad, there’s software, there’s hardware … so many different things that are going on, it’s one-stop-shopping if you will.”

FTF Americas 2014 will include more than 300 hours of technical training sessions and workshops featuring in-depth hands-on workshops and visionary industry panels. Tracks include sessions covering automotive, consumer, healthcare, industrial, networking, smart energy and enabling technologies.

The event will also feature a 35,000 square-foot interactive Technology Lab with more than 250 demonstrations from Freescale and its partners.

“The Freescale Technology Forums have been recognized as one of the leading technical training events for the global embedded design community,” said Gregg Lowe, president and CEO of Freescale. “The 2014 program promises to be our best so far and will showcase how Freescale and our partners are bringing intelligence to the Internet of Things.”
