June 27, 2013 -- Experts in laser scanning from around the world are coming together to showcase the latest technical innovations and solutions at a one day conference in London. The free to attend event, organised by 3D Laser Mapping in collaboration with University College London (UCL), will feature presentations from Stuart Robson, Professor in Laser Scanning at UCL and slope stability specialist Dr Ashraf Afana from Durham University. The packed agenda also features representatives from 3D Laser Mapping including Executive Chairman and founder Dr Graham Hunter and from partner organisations such as IGI Systems’ Head of Research and Development, Dr Jens Kremer and Philip Tudor, Managing Director of Multispectral Ltd.
The one day product showcase titled ‘Innovations in 3D’ will take place on the 18th July at UCL’s central London Campus. Open to all interested parties ‘Innovations in 3D’ will feature the latest ideas, products and innovations from the world of laser scanning including the newly launched ZEB1 handheld mapping system, 3D imaging systems as well as the world leading mobile mapping system StreetMapper. Attendees will be able to experience some of the systems and software for themselves with one to one hands on sessions and will also be able to network with both academic and commercial laser scanning specialists.
