Speaker: Nick Campbell

Nick “the Greyscale Gorilla” is a world renowned 3D motion graphics artist, educator and the online phenom at Greyscalegorilla.com. He will show tips and techniques for using CINEMA 4D and After Effects together to make beautiful renders and tightly integrate the creative workflow from start to final render.

“I’ve always been interested in the 3D/2.5D aspects of After Effects,” Campbell says. “Now that 3D tools like MAXON CINEWARE and CINEMA 4D are built in to After Effects, it's easier than ever to add 3D to my motion graphics workflow. I’m excited to show HOW attendees these new tools and how to combine them to make 3D a permanent part of the animation workflow”

Based in Chicago, Nick Campbell worked at Digital Kitchen as an animator and a photographer where he made TV commercials and title sequences. He also founded an iPhone App company called BananaCameraCo. His Greyscalegorilla site is considered one of the most influential motion design education and product sites geared to artists at any level. Campbell is known for his upbeat and energetic speaking style and is excited when speaking to students and creative professionals about how to be creative and get paid to do what you love.
