June 18, 2013 - OPEN MIND Technologies USA, Inc. will present hyperMILL® at the Agie Charmilles 2013 Open House on July 27+28 in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Agie Charmilles markets EDM machines and Mikron milling machines. The Mikron milling machines provide high speed solutions for medical, mold and die, energy and aerospace industries.
OPEN MIND has perfectly tailored NC postprocessors for the entire machine family that are driven by Heidenhain or Siemens controllers. Machine models for simulation are also used to verify the results of hyperMILL’s toolpath calculations. The Mikron machine designs are ideally suited for the 4+1 and 5-axis machining strategies in hyperMILL.
Recent product enhancements include novel techniques for aerospace components, linking connections between drilling and facing operations, and multi-axis roughing high performance roughing toolpaths using hyperMAXX®, based on the Celeritive Volumill™ kernel.
