3D CAD models of Bulgin components now available through TraceParts

St Romain, France - June 10, 2013 - Elektron Technology has teamed up with TraceParts – the world’s leading digital engineering 3D content company – to offer 3D CAD models of the Bulgin product portfolio. Initially available for the Buccaneer® range of connectors – including the 400 Series, 900 Series and 6000 Series –customers will be able to access these models free of charge through both the TracePartsOnline.net CAD portal and at www.bulgin.co.uk, making it easier than ever before for product developers and engineers to incorporate Bulgin products into their designs.

TracePartsOnline.net is used by product designers around the world, and features hundreds of supplier catalogues and over 100 million CAD models and product datasheets designed specifically to meet the requirements of design, purchasing, manufacturing and maintenance processes. Addition of the Bulgin product range to this extensive library will provide design engineers with easy access to high quality, accurate 3D models which can be used in a wide range of CAD software formats – including SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo Parametric (formerly Pro/ENGINEER), Inventor®, Solid Edge, TopSolid, Geomagic Design™ (formerly Alibre), DWG and DXF – thanks to TraceParts’ online file translation service.
