Informative Graphics Announces Brava for IBM Content Navigator

SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (Marketwired) -- Jun 04, 2013 -- Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC), a leader in viewing, collaboration and redaction technology, today announced the release of Brava!® for IBM Content Navigator. IBM Content Navigator provides access to IBM's enterprise content management (ECM) systems, including IBM FileNet P8 and IBM Content Manager (CM8). Brava integrates seamlessly into IBM Content Navigator, adding enhanced features like document compare, threaded discussions, robust redaction tools and more.

With Brava for IBM Content Navigator, team members can participate in Changemark® threaded discussions, which allows them to add and reply to comments while maintaining an audit trail of the conversation. All annotations and markups are saved in a separate XML file, always leaving the source document untouched in the repository.

Brava can compare two versions of a document -- even a Microsoft Word file and a PDF. Making it easy to spot differences, Brava generates a report that shows the document text with additions and deletions highlighted in different colors.

Brava adds redaction tools to IBM Content Navigator that enable removal of sensitive content from documents, drawings and images. Drag a box around an area in a document, select text or by search for text strings -- Brava completely removes the targeted content, including file metadata.

Compatible with all major web browsers, the zero-footprint, HTML Brava client makes it easy to view and collaborate on content in virtually any file format on both PCs and Macs. Brava is also optimized for use on the Apple® iPad®.

"We're strongly committed to our partnership with IBM," said IGC President and CEO Gary Heath. "Brava integrates seamlessly into IBM Content Navigator, offering collaboration and redaction tools that help streamline business workflows and processes for both P8 and CM8 customers."
