(May 6, 2013/Harrisburg, Pa.) GeoDecisions, an information technology (IT) company specializing in geospatial solutions, is pleased to announce that Thomas L. Saltzer has been promoted to vice president. He previously served as a director.
Based in the firm’s corporate headquarters in Harrisburg, Pa., Saltzer leads the operations and business development of GeoDecisions’ state government transportation and transit client base. A subject matter expert with more than 33 years of business operations, solutions delivery, and sales experience in the IT industry, he has guided GeoDecisions’ significant growth in the transportation and transit market sectors.
Since joining GeoDecisions, Saltzer has helped integrate new and robust processes for business capture and bid preparation and has instituted delivery approaches to satisfy customer demands. He has served as project director for successful endeavors with the Pennsylvania Game Commission and with Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kansas, and Delaware transportation departments.
Saltzer holds a bachelor of science in computer science from Millersville University and a master of business administration in management information systems from West Chester University. He resides in Lancaster, Pa.
