Vows to Trounce Risky Stitch-and-Ship SoC Verification Strategy

Crowning 10 years of achievement is TrekSoC™, Breker’s flagship software that automatically generates self-verifying and synchronized C test cases to run on an SoC’s multiple heterogeneous embedded processors for faster and more thorough verification. TrekSoC, first introduced in 2007, has been used to verify a variety of automotive, graphics and networking designs that have been taped out successfully and are in production use now.

Breker pioneered the use of graph-based scenarios for functional representation of an SoC as well as the use of these graphs to generate high-quality test cases to thoroughly verify the design.

A 10-Year Journey

Since 2003, Breker has worked diligently to fulfill its mission to be the first electronic design automation (EDA) company to solve the functional verification challenges of complex SoC designs containing embedded processors. To fully verify an SoC design, TrekSoC generates C test cases containing multiple streams of realistic user scenarios and schedules the steps so that they cross threads and processors.

Originally founded in Austin, Breker relocated its corporate headquarters to San Jose, Calif., in 2012, and secured $5 million in Series A funding.
