3DVision Technologies Adds Full Line of Stratasys 3D Printers

3DVision is now a leader the 3D Printing market

CINCINNATI, Ohio March 6, 2013 — 3DVision Technologies, an Authorized Reseller of Stratasys, Ltd. printers, has officially been named an authorized reseller of the full line of Stratasys 3D Printers.

3DVision Technologies, a reseller of the Stratasys Dimension 3D Printing line since 2006, has expanded to include the full line of Stratasys 3D Printing systems. As a part of this expansion, 3DVision will now offer the two leading 3D Printing technologies: Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) for functional prototypes and production parts and PolyJet for prototyping parts with high feature detail and fine surface finish.

As a leading reseller of SolidWorks 3D CAD in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, the expansion of the Stratasys line of 3D Printers is a natural fit. The addition of these new 3D Printing technologies allows 3DVision to provide manufactures the ability to create models and prototypes to aid in the product design process.

“As we add more 3D Printing technology to our arsenal our customers will continue to have access to better and more efficient technology,” said Todd Majeski, CEO, 3DVision Technologies. “This isn't just another product, this is an investment in the manufacturing industry. We are continuing to commit ourselves to the highest level of products and solutions in the markets we serve."

3DVision Technologies understands the importance of 3D Printing in the manufacturing process.  On the manufacturing floor, time is money and with the addition of these new technologies companies can print anything from concept models, functional prototypes, end-use parts and manufacturing tools.

"Productivity, improved communication and a competitive edge is the difference between those companies who are moving forward and those that are standing still." said Majeski. "3D Printing , more specifically, Additive Manufacturing, is being used by designers and engineers in nearly every industry. Before long, 3D Printers will be as commonly used as copier."

What is Fused Deposition Modeling?

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) is an additive manufacturing technology that builds functional prototypes and production parts layer-by-layer. FDM Technology is the only additive manufacturing method that uses production-grade thermoplastics which can endure heat, caustic chemicals, sterilization and intense mechanical stresses.

About Stratasys Ltd.

Stratasys Ltd. was formed in 2012 by the merger of Stratasys Inc. and Objet Ltd. The company manufactures 3D printers and materials that create prototypes and manufactured goods directly from 3D CAD files or other 3D content. The company’s 3D printers are based on patented FDM® and PolyJet® inkjet-based technologies.

Stratasys systems are used by manufacturers to create models and prototypes to aid in the new product design process. And they are becoming widely used for production of finished goods in low-volume manufacturing. Systems range from affordable desktop 3D printers to large production systems for direct digital manufacturing.
