HOUSTON, Texas, March 4, 2013 – Brno University of Technology in Brno, Czech Republic, has joined the Intergraph Education Grant Program, with the university selecting Intergraph CAESAR II to be used in courses for training students in piping design and engineering analysis. The company’s grant program has provided complimentary licenses to qualifying universities and other educational institutions worldwide, including over 25 institutions having received licenses for Intergraph CADWorx & Analysis Solutions software products including CADWorx®, CAESAR II, PV Elite®, and TANK™.

Established in 1899 by the Austrian Emperor and Hungarian King Franz Joseph I, Brno University was the first Czech higher education institution in Moravia. The university’s 24,000 students are enrolled in eight disciplines ranging from engineering and business to professional and fine arts programs. In the Mechanical Engineering area, they offer bachelors programs in engineering; masters programs in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Applied Sciences of Engineering, and Production Systems; and six doctoral programs.
