KEMP Technologies today announced its plans to deliver the LoadMaster R320, a purpose-built, hardware load balancing and application delivery controller, the first platform to be released in partnership with Dell. The load balancer is based on the high performance variant of the Dell R320 server platform.
Many IT departments at medium-to-large enterprises realize the critical importance of application delivery controllers to assure the high availability and reliability of web-based business-critical applications. The LoadMaster R320 is designed to deliver on these requirements through the inclusion of the latest advancements in Layer 4 and 7 load balancing, content switching, SSL acceleration, Layer 7 content switching, caching, compression, IPS, IP and Layer 7 persistence. All KEMP's load balancers are optimized for Microsoft Exchange, Lync, SharePoint, RDS and Dynamics. The LoadMaster R320 will also be optimized for other enterprise workloads from Oracle, Citrix, IBM and others.
